The Ashridge experience
Why residential
Our coaching programmes are intentionally built around residential workshops. By staying on-site, you enter a contained space where you can leave behind the usual pace and pressures of working life.
This sense of containment allows for a level of psychological safety that opens the door for deep self-reflection, vulnerability, and the difficult, transformative conversations that are rarely possible in a normal corporate setting.
Historic legacy meets modern sanctuary
There is a unique gravitas to learning in a place that has hosted royalty, prime ministers, and great thinkers for centuries. This heritage lends a sense of perspective and weight to your own personal journey here.
Our Grade I-listed neo-Gothic house is set in nearly 200 acres of protected gardens and woodland. The physical act of walking the grounds—whether on a coaching walk or solo stroll—is part of the Ashridge experience, providing the literal and metaphorical space for new insights to take root.

Connections beyond the classroom
Some of the most valuable learning can happen in the moments between workshops. Whether it's a shared lunch in the Bakehouse café or a late-night discussion with peers in The Vault bar, the residential experience fosters a true community of practice.
These informal conversations build the relationships and lifelong networks that stay with our graduates long after they leave Ashridge.
What our graduates say
“Ashridge has become a really special place. It is absolutely stunning and a home away from home. Not only did I make good friends here, but we have been on a professional and personal journey together.”
