Our accredited executive coaching pathway builds from a Postgraduate Certificate to a Diploma, Ashridge Accreditation, and a Master's in Executive Coaching.

Postgraduate Certificate

STAGE 1

Stage 1: Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching

Our postgraduate certificate is a research-informed higher education qualification that facilitates the application of theory and the development of core coaching skills, with an emphasis on personal reflection, ethical judgement and relational presence.


Part-time format

5 intensive, experiential workshops at Ashridge or online (10 days total), including 5 facilitated supervised sessions and a reflective journal


Cohorts

3 per year. Intakes in January and May (face-to-face cohorts) and October (online cohort)


Online option

A dedicated online cohort delivers the same rigorous curriculum via live, interactive workshops

Outcomes

You'll cultivate a range of relational coaching skills and deepen your capacity for self-reflection. You'll develop a broad understanding of the theoretical frameworks and ethical principles needed to lead effective coaching engagements from initial contract through to completion.

STAGE 2

Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching

Stage two is the gateway to earning your accreditation and becoming an Ashridge Accredited Executive Coach—a clear signal of your professional credibility. We are one of only a few providers whose postgraduate diploma includes an integrated fast-track to Senior Practitioner status with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).


Part-time format

This is an assessment-only module, comprising:

  • One half-day preparation workshop

  • Live coaching assessment, and

  • Submitted evidence of coaching practice


Requirements

You'll need to have completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching to apply for accreditation.

Outcomes

Upon completion of the Postgraduate Diploma, you will earn Ashridge Accredited Executive Coach status and fast-tracked EMCC Senior Practitioner Executive Coach status from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

STAGE 3

Master's in Executive Coaching (MSc.)

Your optional master's year is a year of discovery and the final stage of your coaching qualification journey. By placing your own practice at the heart of a mindful inquiry, you'll refine your professional voice and gain the confidence and credentials to lead at the highest levels of the coaching profession.


Part-time format

  • 4 intensive, experiential workshops at Ashridge (12 days total)

  • 5 half-day supervision sessions (2.5 days total)

  • Reflective inquiry: case study dissertation
