While maintaining the highest academic standards, the program takes a fundamentally pragmatic approach that is rooted in the lived experience of professional practice. Program content is immediately applicable back to your workplace and you are encouraged to share your personal experiences with fellow participants in a collegiate learning environment.
The program is designed in three modules, which provide a progressive pathway through inquiries that combine, at each stage, an increasing depth of understanding about the construction and use of knowledge as well as its application in a particular field of practice.
- Module 1: Engaging in Inquiry, Spring 2020
- Module 2: Developing Inquiries and Presenting Experience, Summer 2020 - December 2021
- Module 3: Testing Propositions and Formulating Practical Implications, Jan 2021 - Oct 2022
You will develop the discipline and skill of reflective writing through practical assignments as you progress inquiry, and the development of the final thesis is an opportunity for an extended practical inquiry with the support of your supervisor and cohort peers.
