Through a variety of psychological theories and models, sound business knowledge and facilitative coaching, they will acquire skills that will allow them to grow their coaching and consulting knowledge and skills.

Overview

This program combines a psychological and organizational perspective on coaching. It will enable participants to engage with their clients at a profound level, increasing the impact on their organization.

It will develop your coaching skills, either to integrate into your existing consultancy work or to create a foundation on which to build a coaching and consulting practice.

Program Coverage:

This program will develop your executive coaching competence and practice, bringing together a variety of psychological theories and models, sound business knowledge and facilitate coaching skills with a view to integrating them in your existing consultancy work or to create a foundation on which to build a coaching and consulting practice.

The program aims to facilitate the application of theory, develop professional reflection and support you in your coaching practice.

It is designed around five workshops and can lead to an optional accreditation process as an Ashridge coach.

Each of the workshops will include ‘co-coaching’ with fellow participants as well as skills practice, live supervision and the opportunity to use the group for the development of the self as facilitator/coach.

Workshop 2 – Psychological theories of personality: working in the relationship

Workshop 3 – Repetition and change: working with patterns

Workshop 4 – Creative change interventions

Workshop 5 – Professionalism in the coaching relationship

A Personal Reflection Journey

At the start of the programme you will receive a range of reflective assignments plus tutoring which helps you to prepare for and reflect upon each of the workshops.

The Personal Reflective Journey comprises:

  • Tasks intended to make the learning of every workshop more pertinent
  • Recommended articles with questions to answer
  • Tutorials on the basis of your reflective writing.

Who is this for?

Consultants working with organizations or internal management development advisors, HR professionals, and change consultants. They will already be working as a coach, but are looking to dramatically increase their level of impact on individuals in organizations.
