More than a non-profit business school, Hult is a dynamic multicultural community that educates, inspires, and connects some of the world’s most forward-thinking business talent. We flip the traditional approach to education by using learning-by-doing experiences to transform students' skillset, from the moment they join us, into that of an exceptional businessperson, from the moment they graduate.
To be the world’s most relevant business school.
We believe that a business school should give you so much more than a degree. Education is all about transformation. Students want skills that will transform their lives. Employers want graduates that will transform their business. Society wants businesses that will transform the world. Like all change, it starts with action.
By focusing on what our students can do in the real world, rather than the theory they study in classrooms, we prioritize those skills and mindsets that are most relevant to bringing about change right now—in the careers of the individual, the businesses they work in, and the society they live in. This belief in learning by doing goes beyond an educational philosophy; it is the guiding force behind every program we provide, every course we create, every class we run.
Those made to do come to Hult from all over the world in order to:
Creative problem-solving and collaboration are essential to personal and professional success. Our students continually practice what they’ll be doing in the workplace so they build a relevant skillset that enables them to take on any challenge they may face after graduation. It’s this—combined with their can-do attitude, natural curiosity, and international outlook—that makes our graduates so in demand with employers all over the world.
Succeeding in international business is all about cross-cultural understanding. Immersed in a melting pot of 141 nationalities across a global campus network, Hult graduates don’t just thrive in an international environment, they know how to leverage it to get results. Our students build a global network by collaborating with classmates from around the world—potential partners, investors, and contacts are everywhere. We specialize in helping international students find international jobs. Class of 2020 Hult graduates were hired at 450 different companies across 75 countries.
We aim to help students be the best version of themselves and become the resilient, self-aware, ethical leaders the future needs. So that they can continue to improve not only their own lives but the business community and society as a whole. Change never stops and neither should learning. Whether our graduate’s goals change, or their industry does, our lifelong learning options enable them to come back to Hult every year for the rest of their career in order to stay up to date and relevant—always.
Our mission statement:
We strive to be the most relevant business school in the world. Our mission is to have a positive impact on individuals and organizations by transforming their management practices. We do this by using our global reach, being creative, entrepreneurial, and on the cutting-edge. We also contribute to sustainable growth, helping leaders integrate commercial success and societal wellbeing. In so doing, we hope to be the business school of choice for existing and aspiring leaders.

Brown Business Boot Camp
Partnering for business excellence
We’re partnering with Brown University to make our practical, real-world approach to business education available to Brown students. Taught by outstanding faculty from both schools, the Business Boot Camp is an intensive, immersive journey into Hult’s hallmark learning-by-doing experience.
Our school’s history is woven of two stories, one beginning in 1964 in Boston Massachusetts, the other in 1959 in a place just outside of London. In 2015, Hult International Business School and Ashridge Business School operationally merged to form one of the world’s most unique business schools.
The Management Education Institute in Boston is formed by Arthur D. Little Inc, the world’s oldest management consulting firm, and develops a one-year Master degree program to train business leaders.
Ashridge Management College is established, with the support of leading companies including Guinness, Shell, and Unilever, to provide general management courses to business leaders.
Research & Publications
Our strength lies in translating groundbreaking thinking into the practices that underpin our programs, to help organizations perform at the highest level and stay ahead of the game.
Our research falls into two themes, which reflect our existing research progress and also harness the school’s differentiating advantage as a uniquely international institution, with students and faculty hailing from and teaching in different parts of the globe as a single community.
Creating Disruption highlights the strategies that anticipate, shape, and react to changes in international markets. What local or global events, technology, or scenarios enable or trigger a new strategy? How are strategies constructed, communicated, and implemented? How well do specific strategies perform, especially in multinational environments? How can strategies that are successful in one market be leveraged in another market that might be half way around the globe?
Transforming Behavior relates to the continuous improvement of organizational and personal leadership practices. This involves rigorous data-driven assessment of the interventions and programs that generate the greatest long-term improvement in the behavior of individuals, teams, and organizations in business settings globally.
