Level 7
2.5 years
Level up to MSc/MBA
Next intake: September 2023
This is a relatively new apprenticeship, following a consultation period in 2020. Through this new apprenticeship standard, we provide three pathways for apprentices.
The learning to the Level 7 Senior Leader Standard is fully funded by the apprenticeship levy. We are also giving apprentices the option to "level up" for an additional fee, following successful completion of their end point assessment. This enables them to finish with an MSc in Leadership and Management, or an Executive MBA.
Apprenticeship in Leadership & Management
A two-and-a-half-year programme. Ideal for apprentices wishing to enhance their leadership and management skills without a formal academic qualification.
Blended learning (2.5 years inc. EPA)
Apprenticeship only
Fully funded by UK Apprenticeship Levy
Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership & Management
A two-year programme, ideal for apprentices who want to level up to an academic qualification. The Postgraduate Diploma runs concurrently with the apprenticeship at no additional cost. Must complete PGDip to have option to Level Up to MSc.
Blended learning (2.5 years inc. EPA)
Level up to MSc in Leadership & Management for £4,000
Can decide to level up at any point throughout apprenticeship
MBA Pathway
A two-and-a-half year programme. Complete the apprenticeship, then level up to achieve the MBA. This is an additional 6 months including the final work-based project.
Blended learning (2.5 years inc. EPA)
Level up to MBA for £10,000
Must decide prior to application if taking academic route
Workshop content and timings subject to change
All of our apprenticeships are developed and regularly reviewed by our expert faculty, to ensure that the latest research and critical thinking is included to tackle the ever-changing organisational landscapes and challenges faced by leaders and their businesses.
We teach through a combination of live online session, on-site training days and virtual study. All learning materials are accessible to the apprentice 24/7 on MyCourses.
Throughout the apprentice's time at Hult Ashridge, we hold 12-weekly tripartite meetings between a member of our apprentice support team, the apprentice, and their line manager to discuss progression so far and any additional support needs.
It has opened my eyes & enabled me to start asking the right questions and see things in a different way. I've developed my strategic skills and feel better equipped to lead sustainable business development, which is critical for us all as we consider our changing world of work.
