While studying at Hult, you will soon realize that everything moves a mile a minute. The programs are accelerated and no matter if you are doing the One-year Masters, MBA or Dual Degree, it’s more than likely you’ll be asking yourself, “It’s module C already?” or “I can’t believe graduation is next month.”

With everything moving so quickly, it’s easy to lose track of your goals and yourself while obtaining your degree. Here are 4 tips to help you stay on track and achieve your goals.

“Celebrate the small achievements in your life and during your time at Hult.”

Aim high but don’t forget the short-term goals

Whether you want to change careers, improve your skills, or just gain more experience, for most of us at Hult the aim is to land that dream job after graduation. While that is the long-term goal, remembering the short-term goals is vital to your success.

Celebrate the small achievements in your life and during your time at Hult, such as acing a final exam, giving a great presentation, or landing that coveted internship. Be bold and aim high, but appreciate the simpler things.

Don’t let others set your goals for you

The great thing about Hult is that you are going to be surrounded by so many talented, diverse, and innovative individuals. You will learn from them, be inspired, and be challenged by them. But remember everyone and everything is not the same.

What may work for someone else may not necessarily work for you. It’s imperative to not let others set your goals for you. Choose what is right for you and your future.

Track your progress

You put in so much work to set and accomplish your goals so why not track them? It’s a great way to remind yourself of your progress and to keep you motivated.

“If you don’t understand what success looks like, how will you know if you have achieved it?”

Understand what YOUR success looks like

Whether you accomplish your goals or not, understand what success means to you. If you don’t understand what success looks like, how will you know if you have achieved it?

Maybe you didn’t get that dream job working for a tech company, instead you met some incredible friends and entrepreneurs while at Hult and realized you want to take the skills you have learned and launch a brand new startup. Life doesn’t always go according to plan and success is subjective.
