Hult’s Global One-Year MBA program offers an innovative curriculum, tailored to suit you. With business at its core, our curriculum has been designed so that you learn to work in cross-cultural teams, develop unique leadership skills, and understand how you can shape the future.

You can also customize your degree with a wide range of electives and specialize by concentrating your electives in marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, business analytics, innovation, behavior, strategy, or disruptive technology. Electives can be taken at any of Hult's global campus locations including Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, New York, and Shanghai.

Your MBA program’s core curriculum is focused on the essential topics of business theory to give you a thorough grounding in general business and deepen the technical skills you’ll need to move to an advanced level. Your electives enable you to tailor your program to suit you.

Immersion: Leadership I

Your program begins with a total immersion into Hult's uniquely practical approach to education that will set you on the right path for the year ahead.

Leadership II

Build on the skills and models introduced during Immersion and specifically focus on communication, negotiation, and persuasion.

Organizational Behavior

Explore the psychological and sociological foundations of individual and group behavior in global organizations in order to motivate others, make decisions, design organizations, and navigate national and corporate cultures, with a special focus on multicultural business contexts.

Accounting

Examine the framework of accounting principles as well as the available methods of accounting to measure, analyze, and report economic events for internal organizational purposes.

Financial Management

Develop the financial and logical skills to understand and discuss financial policy in a global economy. Objectives include developing an understanding of the time value of money, using financial statements in decision making, and understanding the nature of financial markets, the cost of capital, and the valuation of stocks and bonds.

Operations

Develop an understanding of operations management in both service and manufacturing organizations, with an emphasis on international operations.

Marketing

Understand the processes involved in the marketing lifecycle from a managerial perspective, focusing on international marketing contexts.

Place yourself at the intersection of statistical analysis and business knowledge so that you can make meaningful, impactful contributions to any business.

Strategy

Develop a deep understanding of the challenges top management in today's corporations face when implementing corporate and global strategy.

Business & Global Society

Explore the economic, social, and political context of global business and identify the institutional frameworks that shape the wider context of business. There will be a special focus on defining and understanding the meaning, importance, and implications of social responsibility for all stakeholders.

Managerial Economics

Study the analytical foundations that are essential to rigorously address key issues in competitive strategy, marketing strategy, and related fields to make better decisions. You’ll review companies’ strategic decision making problems, their available options, and how the competitive environment affects performance.

Innovators' Summit

Join a worldwide gathering of Hult MBAs for a four-day summit in Dubai on the topic of innovation.

Capstone Experience

The capstone to your core program delves deep into the techniques and technology being used to innovate business for the future and pushes you to apply everything you have learned so far to your Future Challenge. You’ll prepare for the Future Challenge by first learning about the disruptive technologies themselves, for example blockchain, gene editing, or artificial intelligence. You'll then harness the technology to create a compelling new business opportunity, either for your own startup or for an existing company.

Choose electives from a broad range of topics within the fields of marketing, finance, strategy, entrepreneurship, analytics, disruptive technology, innovation, and behavior. Take electives at any of our global campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Shanghai, and New York. You'll be expected to study in at least one other country, but how long you stay is completely up to you.

Internships

An internship is a solid way to transition into a new geography or industry. You can choose to take an approved internship in place of an elective. You'll have the support of your Career Development team to help network and prepare for your internship.

Apply to Hult’s MBA Program

We assess candidates individually based on the strength of their whole profile. Your drive and your mindset are important indicators of your success here, and we value them as much as your proven achievements.

Entry requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Three or more years’ relevant work experience
  • Proof of proficiency in English if applicable (i.e. TOEFL/IELTS)
  • Ability to speak at least two languages; students without a second language will be required to take language classes on campus

How to apply

Step 1: Activate your profile

  • Go to the online application
  • Enter your personal details, recent employment history, and education history
  • Pay the $150 USD application fee to activate your profile, and your personal Enrollment Advisor will be in touch

Step 2: Application consultation

  • A member of the Enrollment Team will call you to discuss your suitability for the program and guide you through the next steps.

Step 3: Complete your application

Submit the following documents at hult.edu/apply. A conditional acceptance may still be given prior to submission of test scores.

  • Current resume/CV
  • Personal statement as a 400-500 word essay
  • One academic or professional reference
  • A copy of your bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Transcripts (in English) from all universities attended
  • Admissions test scores, if required, i.e. GMAT, GRE, or the Hult Business Assessment Test (your Enrollment Advisor will let you know if you are required to submit this)
  • Evidence of English proficiency, i.e. TOEFL/ IELTS, if required (your Enrollment Advisor will let you know if you are required to submit this)
  • Scholarship and financial aid application

Step 4: Personal assessment interview

  • We will assess your profile, goals, and overall fit for the program in an in-person or phone interview.

  • We will also review your English proficiency during the interview.

Step 5: Admissions decision

  • You will receive an admissions decision within two weeks, including decisions on any financial assistance applications.

  • If you have yet to submit required documents, you may receive a conditional acceptance.

Step 6: Submit outstanding documents

  • If you receive a conditional acceptance, you will need to submit any outstanding required documentation— such as your test scores or college transcripts—before you start your program.
