The Honorable James R. Jones has been selected to give the commencement address at Hult International Business School on Thursday, August 21st at 2PM.

Ambassador Jones has enjoyed a 45 year career in politics, business, diplomacy and law. As the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico from 1993 to 1997, the Honorable Jones helped pass the North American Free Trade Agreement and helped resolve the Mexico peso crisis. Prior to his posting to Mexico, Ambassador Jones was Chairman and CEO of the American Stock Exchange in New York. He was also a Member of the U.S. Congress for fourteen years and served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and Chairman of the Social Security Committee. At age 25, he joined the White House staff of President Lyndon Johnson and rose to the position now called Chief of Staff at age 28, the youngest person ever to occupy that position. He has also been a partner in a major Washington law firm and serves on several corporate boards of directors. Currently, Ambassador Jones is CEO of Manatt Jones Global Strategies, a consulting firm that assists multi-national companies in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
