Hult International Business School has awarded a Hult Faculty Fellowship to bestselling author Dr.Michael E. Raynor, a consultant with Deloitte Research. Dr. Raynor, who holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Harvard University, specializes in developing business strategies that focus on generating profit while reducing risk.

“I believe Hult to be an increasingly cutting-edge and international business school with a bright future that I hope to make at least some small contribution to,” said Dr. Raynor. “I look forward to sharing some of my recent research into innovation and the drivers of long-term corporate performance.”

Each year, the Hult Faculty Fellows Program honors outstanding global business leaders who have made a meaningful contribution to management practice.

“The Fellows program is designed to bring today’s most innovative business thinkers into our academic community,” said Hult President Dr. Stephen Hodges. “By awarding Dr. Raynor this fellowship, we can expose our students to the best the business world has to offer.”

In addition to his DBA, Dr. Raynor received an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Harvard College, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. He is the author of The Strategy Paradox, published by Doubleday in 2007, about reducing risk without sacrificing returns. He co-authored the bestseller The Innovator’s Solution, published in 2003.
