Hult International Business School is proud to announce Dr Daniel Deneffe, Professor of Strategy, has topped the bill for Professor of the Year of the Boston campus for the fourth time in the school’s 45 year history. The winners of the prestigious award for the Hult Dubai and London campuses were Prof. John Newman and Prof. Ray Hilditch respectively.

The annual award has been created to praise some of the most distinguished and influential professors of Hult International Business School. Eligible to any of the School’s professors across all campuses, Hult’s diverse and international student body nominates one professor for each campus by detailing why they believe they deserve the prestigious award. It is truly recognition of excellence in teaching and Prof. Deneffe is the only one who has managed to win the coveted award four times.

Dr Deneffe has been an honorable and upstanding member of Hult’s growing faculty since 1997, back when it was the Arthur D. Little School of Management, where his main interests have been strategy, customer management and quantitative modelling. Holding a PhD and MA in Economics from Cornell University, and a B.A. from University of Toronto, he has brought the School a wealth of knowledge. Dr Deneffe was previously placed at Duke University’s School of Business and remains an international partner in management consulting at Arthur D.Little, which has been ongoing since 1995.

He said: “Receiving the Professor of the Year Award is always a big honor. I am particularly happy being elected by this fabulous Class of 2009 which struck me as particularly zealous and constructive, in spite of the rough market conditions awaiting them. I would herewith like to thank the Class for electing me and wish them all the very best in their career.”

Dr Deneffe is a prime example of Hult’s global faculty who possess outstanding academic credentials combined with real-life experience. A large proportion of the faculty are active directors of corporations, consultants, or managers of growth companies, and some also teach at other top institutions such as Harvard, Wharton, Duke, and INSEAD. Hult prides itself on recruiting the very best in teaching excellence and real world experience.
