Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship + Venture Studio Builds Relevant Skills
New undergraduate program combines academic rigor and skills-based learning with real-time startup incubator in burgeoning UAE innovation hub
Hult International Business School is expanding its undergraduate portfolio with a new Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship degree on Hult’s Dubai campus. The program is designed to help learners understand not just what goes into building a business but also how to cultivate the human-centric skills that are so important to being a successful entrepreneur. A key feature of the program is the Venture Studio, an accelerator environment that allows learners to launch their own business while earning a degree, with access to robust startup support and mentorship throughout the program.
The news follows Hult’s recent announcement of new bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science for Business and Psychology, Economics & Politics, emphasizing the school’s increasingly interdisciplinary approach to business education.
“Students are looking for programs that are both rigorous and relevant,” said Martin Boehm, Executive Vice President & Global Dean at Hult. “Our Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship offers learners the challenge-based curriculum Hult is known for—hands-on learning, teamwork, real-world experience, global perspective—with the opportunity to turn their own bold ideas into world-class ventures, in a dynamic city that fosters innovation.”
The program teaches students all aspects of building a business and how to make a global impact. The Venture Studio allows for simultaneous development of their own startup as they earn academic credit towards a degree. The program curriculum includes subjects such as entrepreneurial finance and seed funding, exploring and defining ideas and opportunities, competitive market analysis, business scaling, and more. The Venture Studio brings students into direct contact with mentors, investors, and successful entrepreneurs.
Hult’s campus in Dubai Internet City is an ideal location for entrepreneurs. The city is seeing sector-specific growth in areas such as AI and fintech and is attracting venture capital from across MENA and the world. Hult programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education Commission for Academic Accreditation, which strengthens Hult’s reputation for delivering quality education in the region and expands employment opportunities for its graduates.
“This program provides a structured understanding of business fundamentals, helps build a network, fosters resilience and confidence, and cultivates a proactive mindset for seizing opportunities and navigating uncertainty. Through this new program, Hult is proud to prepare leaders to lead, innovate, and build ventures that will make a global impact well into the future,” Boehm added.
Hult is focused on human-centric skills development to help tomorrow’s leaders succeed in the age of AI, and has built even more of this learning—communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity—into all programs. Hult’s undergraduate curriculum includes executive coaching and mentorship support to help individuals grow their skills, finesse personal strengths, and establish specific career goals.
