How it works

This event is an annual masterclass with some of the best professors at Hult. Students will receive a certificate of attendance after completing the event. Students need to choose one class on Tuesday and one class on Wednesday.

This event will help you navigate the professional landscape and give you useful tips. You’ll also gain beneficial experience from our faculty and a certificate of attendance to support your hard work during these masterclasses.

Meet your professors

Arjita Sethi

Professor Matthew Fisher

Professor Matt Fisher is an energizing and engaging lecturer. Professor Fisher teaches from Hult's San Francisco campus but also teaches at San Francisco State University, St. Mary’s College of California, and Foothill College. Matt has extensive experience as a small business entrepreneur. After 10 years in the real estate and lending sector, Matt transitioned to teaching in 2012. Professor Fisher teaches a wide variety of courses that span economics, entrepreneurship, philosophy, management, and marketing.

While Matt teaches many courses, his signature courses are strategic management, market strategy, brand management, consumer behavior, and sales management.

Professor Fisher is an award-winning case writer. His recent case studies have focused on Tesla, Shinola, and Peloton. His academic interests include consumer behavior, creativity & innovation, strategic management, and brand management.

Cari Guittard

Professor Arjita Sethi

Arjita is a serial entrepreneur who is currently the CEO and founder of Equally, a universal platform that ignites the learning curiosity of kids. She teaches entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, business ethics, and media studies at SF State and Hult International Business School. She speaks and consults actively on inclusion, edtech, consumer startups, product-market fit, and growth hacking. She has been a speaker at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, Women in Tech and Innovation summit (WITI), Women Techmakers Summit, and many other conferences.

She trained over 400 women at the Women Tech Makers Conference in NYC, Cambridge, and Nigeria. She also headed the first Milestone Maker Program of Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Centre in India and sits on the advisory board of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Centre in San Francisco.
