This session is a kick-start for Hult's leadership program and Dr. Selina Neri will cover career development topics, including career vision, progression, acceleration, and internal and external career needs. You will discuss in small groups your personal career stage & vision, and the motivation behind studying for an EMBA, Hybrid MBA, or Live Online MBA. This workshop is also an opportunity to network with other incoming students around the world.

Dr. Selina Neri:
Dr. Selina Neri is a Professor of Management and Corporate Governance at Hult International Business School and a research fellow of the Future of the Corporation Program of the British Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences. For over 20 years Selina has worked in executive management in the technology and luxury industries and has served as Non-Executive Director in the travel industry. She is a senior industry advisor to corporations and institutions in the areas of corporate governance, international marketing, luxury marketing, talent management, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) adoption. For her services in executive management and corporate governance, she was included in “The Female FTSE Board Report 2016: 100 Women To Watch”, published by Cranfield School of Management for the UK Government, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (Lord Davies Review). A member of the Academy of Management, the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), Selina also serves as one of Hult career advisors for EMBA students, with a focus on career acceleration and career changes. In 2020 she was the winner of the Hult Best Professor of the Year Award. Her publications can be found on Google Scholar.
