Leading & Managing Talent
Talent matters, as talent makes or breaks a business. Around the world organizations increasingly recognize the key role of leading and managing talent in delivering sustainable value. The term “talent”, in ancient times a measure of weight, is all around us and a growing number of talent shows on TV expose a variety of artistic talent. In business, only over the last decade talent started to be appreciated as a critical corporate asset. Skills are the new oil of the digital age and today talent extends beyond employees to include gig workers and contractors inside a business and in its wider eco-system. In this interactive session we will explore the building blocks of an effective talent management system: the meaning of talent, recruitment, integration and retention, employee value proposition, engagement, diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging.
