About the class
Since the dawn of humanity, luxury has been associated with a particular culture and sense of excellence. Marketing contemporary luxury needs to be tackled with a tailored mindset and knowledge. This session will present a taste of luxury: its history, marketing specificities, the tensions between luxury production/consumption in the context of the global pandemic, the racial justice movement, the climate emergency, and the 4th industrial revolution.
Professor Selina Neri
Dr. Selina Neri is Professor of Management and Corporate Governance at HULT International Business School (Dubai and London campuses). She designs and teaches courses in Global Leadership, Talent Management, Business Ethics, Marketing & Society, and Luxury Marketing. In 2020 she was winner of the HULT Best Professor of the Year Award. Her publications can be found on Google Scholar.
