Dr. Dara Fisher
Dr. Dara Fisher is an Associate Dean at Hult International Business School's Boston campus. Prior to joining Hult, Dr. Fisher received her doctorate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she studied cross-border higher education. Dr. Fisher’s research interests concern student and faculty experiences at cross-border higher education institutions; her book, Education Crossing Borders: How MIT and Singapore Created a New University, will be released by the MIT Press in August 2020.
Before enrolling at Harvard, Dr. Fisher completed her masters of science in Technology and Policy with a concentration in Engineering Education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she served as a graduate research assistant to the MIT Collaboration with the new Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). In this role, she facilitated student life efforts for the first two classes of SUTD students, coordinating and teaching joint exchange programs between MIT and SUTD for two years. In addition to her participation in higher education professional activities, Dr. Fisher has worked in several policy roles, including at the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and the National Research Council and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in Washington, DC.
Dr. Fisher’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan, where she studied Earth Systems Science Engineering with a focus on science and space policy issues.
