Uche Eze will be at the London campus to meet and mingle with Hult students and faculty on March 23 -24, 2011. Uche Eze will share her success story and her views on the online media industry in Africa.

Uche Eze is the driving force behind BainStone Limited in her dual role as the Managing Director of the company and Founding Editor of BellaNaija.com. Established in 2009, BainStone is a new-media company aimed at conceptualizing, developing and managing innovative and exciting online media content aimed at Pan-African and Nigerian audiences. Founded in 2006, BellaNaija.com is the premier lifestyle, entertainment and fashion website in Africa both in readership and relevance. Under Uche’s leadership, the website has established a loyal following with over one million hits per month and has won numerous awards including the Outstanding Contribution to Fashion Communication Award at the 2010 Africa Fashion Week held by Africa Fashion International (AFI) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Uche holds a Bachelors degree with Honors in Business Administration (HBA) from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in Canada where she graduated with distinction in 2006. She has previously held positions in multinationals including Shell Canada, Cadbury Middle East & Africa Unit based in the UK, and Cadbury Nigeria.
Uche Eze is a TEDAfrica Fellow, a 2010 Future Awards nominee for “Best Use of Technology”, and has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, in addittion to being interviewed on CNN International September 2010. Uche was recently selected as a Nigeria Leadership Initiative – NLI Associate, a prestigious distinction for young outstanding Nigerians. In January 2011, Uche was honored as one of a “Young Person of the Year” finalist at the Future Awards – the most esteemed youth awards organization in Nigeria. In February 2011, BainStone was chosen as one of 50 high potential Nigerian SMEs and awarded a British Airways Opportunity Grant.
BainStone, through its flagship online media product – BellaNaija.com is a pioneer in the online media industry in Nigeria. With Uche at the helm, the company continues to set new standards and advocate for the development of the budding online media industry in Africa.
