Innovative educational collaboration between EY US and Hult International Business School eases pathway to CPA licensure eligibility for undergraduates
To date, over 1,000 EY US undergraduate interns and first year staff have enrolled
Since 2021, EY US and Hult International Business School have collaborated on the EY Career Path Accelerator, a program offering an affordable and relevant alternative for undergraduate students to meet the education requirements for CPA licensure eligibility.
“The EY Career Path Accelerator provides hands-on learning, helping students develop employment-ready skills,” said Ellen Glazerman, Executive Director of the EY Foundation. “We’ve seen incredible interest from students to participate in the program at time when the need for CPAs continues to grow.”
To date, over 1,000 EY US undergraduate interns and first year staff have enrolled in the EY Career Path Accelerator to meet the 150 credit hours required to become CPA eligible. As part of the program, Hult administers a series of business and elective courses that incorporate targeted skills in business, technology, and leadership to ensure participants are prepared with workforce-ready competencies.
“Growth in the EY Career Path Accelerator is proof that students are looking for alternative ways to prepare for careers with programs that are both relevant and affordable,” said Matt Lilley, President of Hult International Business School. “We’re proud to have collaborated with EY US on such an innovative program, which combines sector-specific learning with the skills-based approach that Hult is known for.
