Hult’s Kaleidoscope of Diversity

At Hult, diversity isn’t just our strength—it’s our identity.

We all know the number. There’s over 150 nationalities buzzing around our campuses. But diversity doesn’t just apply to pins on a map. Hult welcomes all students from across the kaleidoscope of life. The one thing that connects them? Hult DNA.

With our theme, we want to celebrate students from all different genders, races, socio-economic backgrounds, religions, and nationalities. Keep all this in mind when designing your merch. This collection will be proudly worn by our community at all of our campus locations and should not be campus specific. This should be a celebration of all the diversity that makes us the trailblazing business school we’re proud to be.

Submission Guideline

Who can participate

All current students at Hult are eligible to participate in the challenge. Even if you're graduating this summer, you're still eligible, but be sure to submit your entry before graduation.


Submission requirements

All participants must use their Hult student email addresses to ensure eligibility when submitting their designs. This helps us verify your status as a current Hult student.

Submissions can be made individually or as a team of up to five people. This is Hult, so naturally, collaboration is encouraged!

Please submit designs for all products in the collection; t-shirt, tote bag, hoodie, phone case, and mug.

Timeline

  • Competition open: May 1 to May 31
  • Winner announcement: June to July

Judging Process and Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall aesthetic appeal. This collection will be proudly worn by our community at all of our campus locations and should not be campus specific. Winners will see their designs featured and sold on the Hult store website!

Submissions will be evaluated through a multi-stage process:

Stage 1—The public vote

Once submissions are received, they will be shared on social media platforms for public voting. Both the general public and fellow students will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite designs. The merch with the most votes go to stage 2

Stage 2—Evaluation by Hult Central Marketing

The shortlisted designs will then be reviewed by the design team at Hult Central Marketing. They will assess the submissions based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall aesthetic appeal.


Stage 3—Final selection by panelists

In the final round, a panel of judges will evaluate the top designs and select the winners. The panelists will consist of representatives from all corners of the Hult community.

Brand Guidelines

Branded Apparel

  • Including hoodie and t-shirt.
  • Your design may not always carry the Hult logo, however, if used, must be used in full.
  • Logo proportion: The aspect ratio should be maintained. Do not squish, stretch, rotate, or skew the logo.
  • Your design may carry Hult or Hult International Business School as long as the font used is distinctly different from Bembo, the Hult brand font.
  • No abbreviations of the school name should be used eg. HIBS.

Branded Merch

  • Including mug, tote bag, and phone case.
  • Your design can carry the full Hult logo or shield.
  • Logo proportion: The aspect ratio should be maintained. Do not squish, stretch, rotate, or skew the logo.
  • Generally restricted to the primary colors in the Hult color palette (Black and Ivory).
  • Can use secondary colors as a highlight.
  • Your design can be created in distressed, camouflage, or non-block color styles.
  • Altering logomark is discouraged as it may negatively impact the integrity and dilute the value of the brand.
