Speaker
Joana Cansado Carvalho has worked as a Life & Career Coach for over 15 years. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, she works mostly with young adults, accompanying them in the process of making decisions about their academic, professional and personal lives and putting them in action.
She has mentored hundreds of applicants to foreign universities including Hult, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Georgetown, IE, ESADE and LSE, and LBS. Her client portfolio includes Portuguese, North-American, Colombian, South African and French men and women aged 21 to 39-years-old. Working exclusively by word of mouth, her unorthodox style is both intellectually demanding and optimistic, and has yielded excellent results. She studied Communication, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, and European History. In total, she has lived and studied in six countries and is fluent in five languages.
