(LONDON – October 18, 2011) Hult International Business School has unveiled plans for a new London campus that will give students and faculty members access to a world-class learning environment, packed with the very latest technology.
Within walking distance of the tube stations at Russell Square and Chancery Lane, the international business school’s new Central London base is ideally placed, with easy access to some of the biggest companies in the English capital and plenty of restaurants and cultural attractions on its doorstep. In March 2012, when a multi-million pound overhaul of the newly acquired Georgian-style building is complete, students will be able to thrive in the truly futuristic surroundings, where bright classrooms, coffee areas and breakout spaces are spread over six ultra-modern floors.
Other improvements planned for the exclusive Bloomsbury address include a new double-height atrium for school events and social functions, a cutting-edge video conferencing room, 23 group study rooms, 16 open plan study areas, 4 classrooms, and a relaxing courtyard garden. Hult will use its HultTV channel to broadcast lectures, the executive speaker series, and networking events to all of its five campuses worldwide.
Designed by Emrys Architects, the 23,500 square foot space will feature interiors by Fiona Kennedy Design; a London-based designer who has already worked her magic on Hult’s other campuses, most recently the extension of Hult’s San Francisco campus. The large scale project has already been nominated for the 3R Awards 2011.
Dr. Stephen Hodges, President of Hult International Business School, said: ‘Like Hult itself, which has grown from strength to strength in recent years, our London campus is on the move. Not only will our new building provide a superb environment for our postgraduate students to learn in, it will give them the space and inspiration they need to become the business leaders of tomorrow.’
