At a glance: Why Hult’s AMBA reaccreditation matters

  • The highest standard of quality: Hult has been awarded the five-year unconditional reaccreditation from AMBA—the strongest possible outcome for any business school.
  • A “triple crown” distinction: This award secures Hult’s place in the top 1% of business schools worldwide that hold accreditation from all three major bodies: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
  • Validated excellence across formats: Whether you study in person or online, our entire MBA portfolio—Global One-Year MBA, Executive MBA, and Global Online MBA—meets the same rigorous global standards.
  • Specific commendations for your career: The AMBA panel specifically highlighted Hult’s international diversity, its challenge-based curriculum, and its outstanding career support as key institutional strengths.
  • Proven outcomes: With 91% of Hult MBA graduates employed within three months of graduation (Financial Times), this reaccreditation confirms that our practical approach continues to deliver a high ROI.

Hult International Business School has retained its place among the world’s leading business schools after receiving the highest possible five-year reaccreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), awarded with no conditions attached.

The reaccreditation covers Hult’s full MBA portfolio: the Global One-Year MBA, the Executive MBA, and the Global Online MBA, delivered across campuses in Boston, London, and Dubai. A five-year unconditional term represents the strongest possible outcome under AMBA’s review cycle.

The award means Hult continues to hold triple crown accreditation, having earned recognition from all three leading international business education bodies: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. Only around 1% of business schools worldwide hold all three. Hult has maintained this distinction since 2018, when it became the first US-based business school to achieve it.

Matt Lilley, President of Hult International Business School, said: “Five years, no conditions. That’s the verdict on a model that only seems to get more relevant: practical, international, and built around real outcomes. The diversity AMBA singled out is by design and core to the Hult experience.”

The AMBA panel singled out five areas of commendation:

  • Hult’s exceptional international diversity, valued across the whole school community
  • Its commitment to a vibrant cohort experience across every format, including online, at a time when many schools are moving away from this model
  • Its challenge-based business curriculum, praised for equipping students to lead through ambiguity
  • The strength of its careers support and alumni offering, including free electives for graduates every year
  • The clarity of its positioning in a competitive global market

AMBA accreditation focuses specifically on the quality of postgraduate management education, assessing program design, faculty quality, student experience, and graduate outcomes. According to the Financial Times, 91% of Hult MBA graduates are employed within three months of graduating, with an average salary increase of 74% within three years—results that reflect exactly what AMBA evaluates.
