ACCREDITATIONS & AWARDS

Globally Accredited. Locally Recognized.

Wherever you study with Hult, your degree is backed by real authority: the legal right to award it, independent accreditation that vouches for it, and local regulatory approval in the country where you earn it. From triple accreditation to national degree-awarding powers, these credentials add up to one thing—a world-class education that holds up anywhere you take it.

Global Accreditation & Degree-Awarding Powers

Hult meets the highest standards the industry has for academic quality and global reach. We hold the legal authority to award our own degrees and carry triple accreditation from the three most prestigious bodies in business education—a combination held by fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide.

NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Education)

  • The foundation of every Hult degree

NECHE is Hult's institutional accreditor and the source of our authority to award degrees. NECHE is one of the regional accrediting bodies recognized by the US Department of Education, and has been accrediting institutions since 1885. Institutional accreditation from NECHE means Hult has been independently evaluated against rigorous standards for academic quality, financial stability, governance, and student outcomes, and found to meet them.

Because NECHE accredits Hult as a single global institution, that accreditation covers our campuses worldwide—Boston, London, and Dubai. No matter which of these campuses you attend, your bachelor's, master's, MBA, or DBA carries the same NECHE-backed US accreditation from Hult International Business School, Inc.: a recognized, transferable credential.

Triple Accreditation

Top 1% of business schools worldwide

Hult has held triple accreditation since 2018, placing us among the top 1% of business schools globally, and making Hult the first US-based business school to reach this distinction. Triple accreditation reflects program and institutional quality, distinct from, and complementary to, the degree-awarding authority granted by NECHE. It means Hult has been independently evaluated and approved by all three of the world's most prestigious business education accrediting bodies:

  • AACSB accredited logo

AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

One of the oldest and most respected accreditation bodies in business education, AACSB is US-based and evaluates institutions on teaching excellence, research quality, and continuous improvement.

  • AMBA logo

    AMBA (Association of MBAs)

A UK-based accreditor focused specifically on postgraduate management education—MBA, DBA, and master's programs—AMBA is known for its rigorous standards around program design, faculty quality, and student experience.

  • EQUIS logo

    EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System)

Awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development, EQUIS evaluates the overall quality of an institution, with particular emphasis on international outlook, from governance and curriculum to research and corporate engagement.

Local Regulation & Market Recognition

Wherever Hult operates, we hold the local regulatory approvals required to teach and award qualifications in that market. That means every Hult program meets global accreditation standards and the specific legal and educational requirements of the country where you study.

  • ofs-primary

    Office for Students (OfS)

Hult is registered with the Office for Students, the independent regulator of higher education in England. Registration confirms that Hult meets the OfS's standards for quality, governance, and student protection, and we are subject to ongoing regulatory oversight.

  • Degree-Awarding Powers (DAPs) in the UK

The Office for Students lists the degree-awarding powers held by both Hult International Business School, Ltd. and Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust.

Hult International Business School, Ltd. holds UK Degree-Awarding Powers, giving Hult the legal authority to award its own degrees in the UK, independent of validation by another university. If you graduate from Hult's London campus with a bachelor's, master's, or MBA, you'll receive one diploma reflecting both US and UK degree-awarding authority.

Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust is also registered with the OfS and holds its own UK Degree-Awarding Powers. Hult's Coaching Qualifications, including the Master's in Coaching, are delivered at Hult Ashridge campus and issued under these powers. If you complete one of these programs, your degree is issued by Ashridge Trust.

United Arab Emirates

  • Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA)

Hult Dubai's undergraduate, master's, MBA, Executive MBA, and DBA programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education's Commission for Academic Accreditation, confirming they meet national standards for quality and rigor. CAA accreditation qualifies your degree for the attestation required for government employment, further study, and professional licensure in the UAE, and it's recognized across the Gulf region. It also opens doors with employers across the UAE, in both the public and private sectors, that require a degree from an MOE-accredited institution.

  • Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA)

Hult is licensed and approved by the KHDA to operate in Dubai and holds a 5-star KHDA rating, so our programs comply with local higher education regulations and meet a high bar for quality.

Awards & Recognition
