Alessandro Lanteri

Alessandro Lanteri is a Full Professor of Entrepreneurship at Hult, London Undergraduate campus. He’s also an advisor to the World Economic Forum, an expert for the World Economic Survey, a TEDx Speaker and a business consultant. He’s based in Abu Dhabi (since 2017) and London.

Professor Lanteri does consulting and training on leadership and innovation with multinationals (representative selection: ABB, CNH Industrial, Etisalat, Ford Motors, UBS, Unilever, Virgin Money), the United Nations (International Labour Organization, World Health Organization), governments (UAE Prime Minister’s Office, Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, UAE Ministry of Finance), consulting companies (IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers), public interest entities (Confindustria, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority) and start-up programs (Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Center) in Europe, America, the Middle-East, and Africa. He founded and ran a business incubator, and acted as advisor to several others in 3 continents.

Professor Lanteri also teaches at Ashridge Executive Education, Knowledge Group, Grenoble Graduate School of Business, Abu Dhabi University, and ESCP. Prior to joining Hult as an Associate Professor in 2014 and being promoted to Full Professor in 2016, he worked at Bocconi, American University of Beirut, UPO, Helsinki University and UCLA. He holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master from Bocconi and also studied at Stern School of Business at NYU, Said Business School at Oxford University, and Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Professor Lanteri sits on the board of directors of A.C.O. and on the advisory boards of Nexus Frontiertech and Cambrian.ai. His research focuses on innovation, ethics, and leadership and has been published by top international journals (e.g., Journal of Business Ethics, Philosophical Studies, Philosophical Quarterly, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship) and publishers (Cambridge University Press, Palgrave-Macmillan), including Harvard Business Review Arabia, LSE Business Review, World Economic Forum Agenda and Forbes. 

His next books “Strategic Drivers for the Digital Era” and “Social Innovation in Finance” will be published in 2019.
