Hult International Business School, the world’s first global business school, introduces the first in a series of innovative “Pocket MBAs”: short, intensive business seminars on current business challenges designed for professionals, executives and companies.

The first Pocket MBA, “Managing during the global downturn”, will be held on Hult’s Dubai MBA campus April 28-29. A group of distinguished business professors drawn from a cross-section of disciplines will present and conduct discussions on innovation and strategy, decision-making, and career planning during this financial crisis. All Pocket MBA attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the two-day seminar.

Dr. Nick VanDerWalt, Dean of Hult’s Dubai MBA program, says, “Drawing on Hult’s top-ranked MBA program, the school is in a position to offer thought leadership on today’s most provoking and relevant business topics. Our Pocket MBA this April will offer useful insights for executives to navigate the current economic downturn. We are pleased to be hosting this event with Dubai’s TECOM.”

Hult’s Pocket MBA in Dubai International Academic City will feature leading professors on strategy and innovation, Dr. Daniel Deneffe and Dr. Hitendra Patel, Harvard finance professor, Dr. Vicktoria Dalko, entrepreneur and negotiations specialist, Dr. Patrick Courtin, Hult’s distinguished management professor, Dr. Michael Wagemans, and Reg Athwal, Founder of RAW Group.

Hult’s President, Dr. Stephen Hodges, shares why the global business school has decided to run Pocket MBAs. “We want to give professionals and companies a taste of our top-ranked one-year MBA program in an abbreviated format, while offering them a chance to gain valuable insights they can apply immediately to their own companies. This is an excellent format to share our MBA faculty’s insight with the business community while offering participants an exceptional networking opportunity.”

Seats are still available for Hult’s Pocket MBA in Dubai on April 28th and 29th. The registration fee is just USD100 for the two-day professional seminar. Interested participants please call: +971 4375 3088.
