About the class

Cari will address the opportunities ahead of us to influence global markets through strategic persuasion.

One of the central functions of communication is persuasion. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all constantly persuading every day. This masterclass preview will explore the practical application of persuasion and influence techniques for those seeking to build on their sales, leadership, negotiation, and general communication skills. We will focus broadly on the social, psychological, and communicative processes involved in intentional attempts to persuade as well as develop new insights that you can take and practice immediately following this session.

Professor Guittard is deeply passionate about supporting the development of these critical skillsets in her students, especially those who are more introverted in nature than she is. We can all become better at persuading and influencing—this is where we begin.
