We're bringing our Professor Omar Hernandez to lead an interactive master class on Data and Sustainability. The session will provide an overview of strategies and tactics to embed sustainability in an organization. The presentation goes over some megatrends and global crises that are creating opportunities for responsible businesses. Data-driven decisions and innovative platforms are paving the way forward in the implementation of successful initiatives.
Professor Romero-Hernandez was a recipient of the 2010 Franz Edelman Award, the world’s most prestigious award on operations research and management science. He is a chemical engineer with graduate studies in economic policy and government and a PhD in process economics and environmental impact from Imperial College, England.
Omar has worked for a diverse range of public and private organizations such as Procter & Gamble, PEMEX (Oil & Gas), Accenture, and the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources. In 2001, he was appointed Fulbright professor at the University of California, Berkeley and has taught at Hult since 2013. He has led various internationally awarded projects in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable business strategies, and business processes.
