A private, in-person evening for senior professionals who want a real conversation about doctoral study — not a sales pitch.
Why attend?
Not every conversation about a doctorate belongs in a lecture hall. This exclusive evening brings together a select group of senior professionals for an in-depth, thoughtful discussion about the Hult DBA — followed by a relaxed cheese and wine reception among peers.
No presentations.
No pressure. Just the kind of honest dialogue that helps you decide if doctoral study is right for you.

Some decisions deserve more than a brochure.
If you're seriously considering a Doctorate in Business Administration, this is the evening to explore it — in person, with the people who know the Hult DBA best.
Hosted at Hult's London campus in Holborn, this private event brings together a small group of senior professionals for an intimate evening with Dean Dr. Jen Serowick, Assistant Dean Dr. Kate Abraham, and the senior enrollment team. Expect an open, substantive conversation about the DBA journey — what the research process looks like, how it fits alongside a demanding career, and what kind of transformation it makes possible.
The evening is designed to be thoughtful rather than transactional — combining genuine program insight with informal dialogue, and closing with a relaxed cheese and wine reception that gives you the chance to connect with peers considering the same step.
Dr. Jennifer (Jen) Serowick, Ed.D, is the Dean of Online and Partnership Programs at Hult.
Jen has spent her career in higher education administration and has focused her research and work on adult learners. Jen has a doctorate in leadership and wholeheartedly supports Hult’s mission to grow “leaders who do” and make a positive impact.
Jen’s role as Dean includes supporting students throughout their MBA journey and working alongside the online MBA team and faculty to deliver a high-quality, impactful, and enjoyable MBA experience.
Expertise includes

Dr. Kate Abraham is the Assistant Dean of the Hult DBA program. With a Doctorate in Business Administration and experiences across several higher education institutions, Dr. Abraham brings a deep understanding of the executive doctoral journey—from admissions and coursework to research development and graduation.
As both an administrator and a former DBA student, she possesses valuable insights into navigating DBA programs successfully and progressing toward a meaningful doctoral contribution. As a researcher, Kate’s interests often lie at the intersection of human experiences and technology. Her doctoral qualitative study on SMEs in Nigeria explored digital marketing implementation from an attentional processing and organizational behavior perspective.
She has also worked on research projects across Hult’s Research Impact Labs. Outside of her work at Hult, Dr. Abraham balances education consulting projects with her passion for exploring cultures through travel and immersion, and her love for collecting murder mystery novels and video games.
