Master of Digital Marketing

Technology and the internet have dramatically changed the way that businesses interact, market, and sell to customers. The rapid replacement of traditional media by social networking sites, websites, blogs, and video sharing sites has created an urgent demand for professionals who can think creatively about how to successfully capitalize on the opportunities of reaching an enormous audience through digital channels. Hult's Master of Digital Marketing puts you on the fast-track to understanding the industry and gaining the skills needed to secure exciting marketing roles with leading brands and agencies around the world.

Hult has been a pioneer in the education of digital marketing. In 2009 it became the first top-ranked business school in the world to offer a specialized Master of Digital Marketing degree. While digital marketing has become central to many corporate marketing strategies, an understanding of core branding fundamentals is essential for managers to create seamless communication throughout the marketing mix. Hult has recently evolved its groundbreaking program into the Master of International Marketing, allowing students to retain a strong digital marketing focus while mastering concepts essential for international branding, on and offline.

A highly relevant education in both business and digital marketing

Hult’s Master of Digital Marketing has been designed in collaboration with Econsultancy, the leading provider of best practice and education for the digital sector. During a single year, students will gain core skills in finance, accounting, strategy, and general management as well as internet marketing, web analytics, and search engine optimization.

The key to a promising career

Our program equips you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to become the digital marketing “wiz” in any organization. Graduates will be able to manage online campaigns and can expect to work for employers such as advertising agencies (e.g. BBDO, DDB, TBWA, and WPP) and advise clients on their digital marketing strategies.

Action Project Life Cycle

The final phase of the innovative LEAP Method is the Action Project. During this process, you can expect to glean a wealth of information about how to set an idea in motion.

We place students in teams of five, each led by a faculty advisor. We then challenge each team to help solve a real business problem of a leading Fortune 500 company.

Each team is assigned a high-level executive from the company who is in charge of growing business. To increase motivation, the teams are pitted against each other in competition.

Action Project Mentors

Over six weeks, these teams work with their executive mentors and Hult's world-class consultants to come up with a comprehensive plan for growth.

At the end, the teams present their findings to an executive group within the company. The winning team's case study is handed over for implementation.
