Global Alumni Day is an alumni-led initiative that seeks to recognize and celebrate the growing Hult alumni network on one day. Alumni were invited to plan local events ranging from casual social gatherings, to networking dinners, to guest speaker events.
What type of event can I host?
The type of event you organize is up to you; you have creative control. The goal of it is to gather and engage as many Hult alumni as possible in your city.
Global Alumni Day events do not need to take place in the evening; you can host a breakfast, lunch or all-day activity. Please try to ensure the event format you choose aligns well with your local alumni population. Please keep this logic in mind when you consider pricing for your event.
As a volunteer, we ask that you host an event on Thursday, September 26, 2019. If you are unable to organize an event on this date, please email email@example.com.
Who can I invite?
The event is exclusively for Hult alumni. We’ve chosen a date in the fall to welcome new alumni into the global alumni community. We invite you to use your network to spread the word to fellow alumni, including those with whom you have lost touch.
You can find alumni in your region by using the Hult Connect Directory, and searching via the location filter. You can also reach out to the Alumni Relations team for support or questions.
Will Hult provide any budget for my event?
The Global Alumni Day event is organized by alumni for alumni, so Hult will not be providing budget for events. We encourage organizers to keep event costs low to encourage alumni to participate in an event. Hult will be providing all organizers with a Global Alumni Day event pack, which will include marketing and promotional materials to be used on the day of the event.
How can I promote my event?
You can start sharing your Global Alumni Day event on social media now. Once you’ve committed to organizing and event in your city, please post the details on the Hult Connect event listing.
