Crisis Interconnectivity: Joining the Dots
In 2023, it is essential to understand the related challenges facing the world: The urgent fight against inflation, the war in Ukraine, rocketing fuel & food prices, the difficult transition to renewable energy, and China’s unsteady route, post-pandemic.
Join Professor Chris Kinsville-Heyne to explore the world’s crises and how you can navigate the uncertainties they present.
Chris Kinsville-Heyne is a Professor of Leadership & Strategy at Hult International Business School.
As a British army officer, he commanded a NATO Mobile News Team at the end of the Civil War in the Former Yugoslavia (FY), returning shortly afterward as a NATO Spokesman in Banja Luka, Bosnia. As a Staff Officer, he designed the crisis communication plan for Media Operations in FY and was the focal point for all NATO communication during the Drvar riots prior to the Kosovo campaign. He has served in most NATO countries, training personnel to deliver strategic messages in challenging environments. He is also a Royal Engineers Intelligence Officer.
Professor Kinsville-Heyne founded C3i Strategic Solutions, an international management consultancy, specializing in training government departments in leadership and team-building, media skills, presentation skills, key-message development, crisis communication and management, and communication team development. He has trained and assisted presidents and prime ministers, CEOs, and board members globally.
He has been published internationally and by the Harvard Business Review for his insights into crisis communication and management, particularly following the London and Boston bombings and the Paris and Brussels attacks. He is currently advising governments on their strategic communication in relation to the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.

My enrollment advisor supported me the whole way—helping me prepare everything, chatting to my parents—I felt at home before I’d even arrived.
