Course Structure

The course is divided into 4 modules. Each module focuses on a different aspect of team collaboration.

01 Team Skills & Theory

Examines and explores team skills and theory. You will examine, Tuckman’s Model of Team Development, Lencioni’s Models of Team Performance and Drexler & Sibbett, to name a few, whilst finding the common themes across all team theories that will create high performing teams.

02 Establishing Team Purpose

Whether you are managing a new team coming together for the first time, an established team that wants to focus on team development, or a team embarking on a major project, this module will guide you in developing your team by establishing a clear purpose.

03 Maintaining High Team Performance

As a team leader, your role is broader, and you can step back and let your team members get on with the job. This module looks at how to keep your team motivated and engaged to maintain high performance levels.

04 Remote Teams

Explores how to work with remote teams. As teams become more global and remote the importance of reducing misunderstanding due to cultural and language barriers become paramount, as does the ability to read non-verbal cues effectively.

Meet the Faculty


Angela Jowitt - BSc (Hons) Psychol, MSc

Angela is an adjunct faculty member at Ashridge and works with a wide range of clients. She designs and runs highly creative experiential team development events, which facilitate team dialogue, help with motivation and overcome potential conflict. Her teaching portfolio focuses on team development and soft skills of leadership including impact and presence, influencing, self-confidence and resilience and wellbeing. She is also an experienced coach of leaders from around the globe, spanning all business sectors and levels of seniority.
