Executive Coaching: "Design Your Career"

Starting your Executive MBA journey? This "Design Your Career" workshop will help you take practical steps toward forging a career that aligns with your true self. Whether you're exploring paths or have identified your preferred role, this course will help you develop your career in line with your life vision.

Coach Stella will guide you through applying design thinking methodology to help you develop meaningful career options. This course is broken down into two-hour classes over two consecutive Saturdays that will:

  • Offer you the space for reflection to come up with actionable ideas for your path/s ahead
  • Teach you how to connect the dots between your passions, strengths, and values to craft a career vision
  • Give you practical tools and guidance to prepare possible actionable plans
  • Connect you with peers to share, exchange, and support your plans in the year to come

About the workshop

In this course, we'll explore career design in the following areas:

Discover: Self-reflection exercises to consider values, talents, and curiosities, and explore meaningful work based on Stanford Research.

Ideate: Using design thinking principles, create multiple career options by combining earlier findings into brainstorming exercises.

Execute: Craft an action plan with the Design Your Life framework and prototype one career path. Work in peer groups to explore resources and validate ideas, breaking down large ideas into achievable steps.

Stella is an experienced international executive and career coach with over 18 years of global market experience. She has helped executives from various backgrounds progress on their professional development goals and specializes in helping international career transitioners. After successfully setting up and growing the Executive Career Development office at INSEAD for the past five years, Stella founded Inspiration Ride, an education and career consulting partner for individuals and corporations. She has extensive experience working with business schools, coaching EMBAs and MBAs, and delivering workshops on career themes. Stella combines coaching models, psychometrics tools, and personal development approaches to offer methods for navigating your professional journey.
