During this event, you'll hear from deans of various campuses, who will share their experiences and insights on a range of topics, including academic programs, campus life, and career opportunities. Namrata Kamath is the dean at Hult International Business School in Dubai. Before her time at Hult, she was assistant director for Residence Life at Green River College. Namrata also worked as a graduate hearing officer while earning her master’s degree at Minnesota State University. She is passionate about supporting students and adding value to their higher education experience. Along with her day-to-day job, Namrata is doing an Executive Doctorate in Organizational Change to break out of traditional leadership roles and develop new ways of contributing to the workforce.
Dr. Ian Dougal is dean of academic affairs, responsible for quality management across the school's academic programs, and implementation of systems and processes to meet the standards of the school's multiple accreditations.
Dr. Ian Dougal earned his undergraduate degree from Swansea University, his master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his PhD (in International Relations) from the University of Birmingham. His PhD research focused on the role of the United States in the world order. He joined Hult in 2000, as a professor of international relations, teaching classes in diplomacy & negotiation, international security, and American foreign policy. Dr. Dougal was appointed dean of the London campus in 2007, and from that post he guided the development of both undergraduate and master's programs.
Professor Chartier has spent 21 years in banking with American Express, Dresdner Bank, and Bank of Boston. His banking expertise ranges from credit analysis to domestic and cross-border lending, treasury sales, foreign exchange, and interest risk hedging advisory services. As director of institutional treasury sales at American Express Bank in London, his geographic customer base encompassed 15 countries spanning Europe to the Middle East, and Africa.
He has taught economics and finance in various colleges and universities in the Boston area, including Babson College and Boston University. Frederic is the 2005 recipient of the Edward F. Shaughnessy Outstanding Faculty Award, presented by the New England College of Finance.
Barbara Godoy currently serves as the campus dean for Hult San Francisco. She has a 16-year career in higher education and held various leadership positions in alumni engagement, enrollment management, academic affairs, and student services.
Before joining Hult, she served as a senior consultant in higher education and previously served as the assistant vice president of strategic enrollment at Sonoma State University. She has a proven track record of achieving results in strategic enrollment management, launching online programs, building reciprocal partnerships in government relations, increasing retention margins, and streamlining operations in admissions. She has led teams through organizational change, while meeting key performance indicators through digital marketing and communication strategies. Barbara is passionate about student equity and access to educational opportunities, poverty alleviation, and restorative justice.
