Gift holds an MBA in AI & Data Analytics from Hult International Business School. He's currently AI Lead at YIEDI, where he mentors, supports, and funds South African entrepreneurs across nine provinces.

He's also the founder of Auraa, an AI music platform training models on African sonic heritage to correct what he calls "cultural hallucination" — the fact that less than 1% of the data inside today's generative AI music models is African. Auraa's flagship release, South Africa's first AI-generated Amapiano album, hit 800K+ Spotify streams and debuted live at the ITWeb AI Summit 2026.

Before this, Gift co-founded Kudoti, a waste-tech SaaS platform backed by Google and Techstars that scaled across six African markets. He's a BRICS Young Innovator, WEF Global Shaper, TEDx speaker — and a DJ and artist in his own right.
