2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Summit Check-In & Refreshments at Hult Dubai Campus
Check in anytime between 2 pm and 4 pm and meet and mingle with colleagues and staff over light refreshments.
4:00 pm – 4:15 pm: Global Online MBA Fall 2023 Summit Welcome
Join Dean Namrata Kamath and Associate Dean Jen Serowick as they introduce the Hult team and officially kick off the summit.
4:15 pm – 5:30 pm: Opening Session: Professor Amanda Nimon-Peters
Join Hult’s Professor of Leadership, Dr. Amanda Nimon-Peters as she discusses “The Surprising Relationship Between Experience, Expertise, and Innovation (Hint: It is not what you think it is).” Dr. Nimon-Peters, an expert in the application of behavioural science to develop leadership skills, helps leaders at all phases of their careers understand why we do what we do at work.

Participate in an exciting conversation led by Mr. Karl Feilder, the founder of Neutral Fuels, and hear about how his company has created a clean, green, renewable fuel out of waste cooking oil that supports organizations to reduce their carbon footprint to stop climate change.

Immerse yourself in authentic Emirati cultural experiences and engage in open and honest conversations with the local Emiratis while enjoying traditional dinner together. Join Alessandro Lanteri, Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Hult as he discusses his new book “Innovating with Impact.” You’ll learn how this expert educator and advisor helps multinationals and governments seize the opportunities of turbulent environments.

Meet Dubai’s faculty Dr. Belisa Marochi, a market research ethnographer, as she discusses “Innovation for Sustainable Development” drawing on her vast experience teaching and consulting for governments and organizations around the globe.

1:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Closing Session: Professor Mark Esposito:
Join Hult’s Professor of Economics, Strategy and Foresights, Dr. Mark Esposito as he discusses “Growing and Innovating in Unsettling Times.” Recognized internationally as a top global thought leader in matters relating to The Fourth Industrial Revolution, Professor Esposito will share his global expertise in an engaging session.
3:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Optional Dubai Desert Tour
Perfect for adventure enthusiasts, this tour will take you coursing over sand dunes and exploring the mysteries of an Arabian desert. Take a thrilling drive (dune bashing) on the high red dunes, watch the sunset and enjoy all the entertainment of a desert camp, such as henna paintings, camel rides, and a barbecue dinner. We will be departing campus promptly at 3:30 pm. The experience will wrap around 8:30 pm and your estimated arrival back to campus will be at 9:30 pm.

Dr. Amanda Nimon Peters
Dr. Amanda Nimon-Peters is a professor of leadership at Hult International Business School. She started university at age 16 and holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Adelaide and a PhD in Behavioural Science from the University of Cambridge.
Amanda’s work addresses leadership challenges by combining a deep scientific understanding with her senior management experiences as a team leader at Procter & Gamble in Europe, a board director for a UK housing charity, and a successful start-up founder in Dubai.

Mark is a bestselling author, professor and thought-leader in matters relating to the 4th Industrial Revolution. He co-founded Nexus Frontier Tech, an AI Firm, dedicated to the production of AI solutions. He was inducted in 2016 in the radar of Thinkers50 as one of the 30 most prominent business thinkers. He is a global expert of the World Economic Forum and adviser to governments.

Karl W Feilder
Karl founded Neutral Fuels in 2011 when few people in the Middle East believed that climate change was real and even fewer believed that waste cooking oil could be recycled into biofuel at scale. Ten years later, Neutral Fuels Holdings is based in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) and is the largest manufacturer and distributor of net zero biofuels in the GCC, having produced more than 13.5 million liters of biofuel in the UAE since its inception.

Ghaith Rahman
As the senior project lead for the Dubai Future Foundation, Ghaith manages government and private sector innovation programs that aim to launch new business models based on emerging technologies in Dubai and scale them globally. He works with the Dubai Future Accelerators, Dubai 10X and corporate X-Labs such as the Aviation X-Lab, P&G’s i-Dubai Lab and others.

Dr. Belisa Marochi
Dr. Belisa Marochi is faculty at Hult International Business School Dubai. Her experience encompasses consulting roles for governments in the US, Europe and UAE, as well as organizations such as the United Nations and companies like Nokia, Airbus, Kraft Heinz, and Procter & Gamble. Dr. Marochi, as a market research ethnographer, has contributed her expertise to research and development projects spanning various regions including South America, Europe and Asia. Dr. Marochi has also served as the Academic Lead of the UN Women Empowerment Principles in the United Arab Emirates and as a member of the UAE Private Advisory Council on Sustainable Development Goals.

Martyn Cowie
Martyn Cowie has over 18 years of experience in the energy sector. He is recognized not only as a business leader but also as an accomplished speaker, engaging audiences with his wealth of experience. Martyn’s career started in 2005 with Vetco Gray, later acquired by GE, based in Scotland. He worked his way into Project Management, before continuing his journey by moving to the middle east in 2013 with Proserv, gaining valuable regional experience. In 2016 he joined Action International in the capacity of Business Development Manager covering the GCC region. In 2021, Martyn co-founded Tyde Digital, providing digital transformation services that help business leaders leverage their technology & data to optimize the way they delivered their products and services. Martyn holds an MBA from Hult International Business School.

Rodrigo is an engineering project manager from the O&G and energy industry with 15+ years of experience in R&D, disruptive innovation, business analytics, artificial intelligence, asset integrity, and project & operations management.
His current role is of Head of Product leading the development of AI and IOT-powered platforms for the energy market targeting asset integrity management, connected workers, and site optimizations.
Rodrigo has a Global MBA from Hult International Business School with a specialization in Business Analytics
Marika Brivio
Marika Bravo is an MBA graduate from Hult International Business School, currently part of Global Ventures' value creation team, a leading international VC firm investing in founders accords the Middle East and Africa.
Marika actively contributes to portfolio startup growth by offering tailored support, promoting innovation, and sharing value.

Soumana Ammar
Hospitality Executive/ Best Selling Author and Leadership Coach
Soumana is an advocate of people development and coaching, facilitating transformation by helping aspiring leaders in their development journey. She applies a strengths-based approach creating engagement and transformational change.
She recently published her first book “Without your job title, WHO ARE YOU?” to help aspiring leaders identify their purpose and unfold their true potential. The book has hit a Best Seller before its release date. Soumanna is a current EMBA student in Dubai.
Max Modala
After completing the MBA at Hult, Max joined the Leadership Program of Fortune 500 American company Honeywell. After completing 3 different roles across EMEA, in 2021 he was offered to lead the HR Function for a newly launched division, Global Airports. Max currently is the HR Leader of Global Airports and the Building Technology business in UAE. Passionate about Talent and Change Management, Max has led several initiatives to shape the businesses according to the most relevant global macrotrends. Max is also currently working on a startup concept in the leather goods domain, and we may hear from him in this area soon!
