Meet the Experts
Dr. Ian Dougal is Dean of Academic Affairs, responsible for quality management across the school's academic programs, and implementation of systems and processes to meet the standards of the school's multiple accreditations.
Ian earned his undergraduate degree from Swansea University, his master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his PhD (in International Relations) from the University of Birmingham. His PhD research focused on the role of the United States in the world order. He joined Hult in 2000, as a professor of international relations, teaching classes in diplomacy & negotiation, international security, and American foreign policy. Ian was appointed Dean of the London campus in 2007, and from that post he guided the development of both undergraduate and master's programs.

Nav Dutta has spent the past 18 years supporting the career and professional development of management talent through his work with global retail giant Walmart and graduate students at Hult International Business School. Nav is an expert in the fields of international career planning and organizational capability management.
As a certified Designing Your Life Coach, Nav is passionate about utilizing the renowned design thinking framework developed at Stanford’s school to help individuals design the careers and lives they want. Nav is a firm believer that the world will be a better place when knowledge is shared and skills are developed with those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Nav currently works with students at Hult International Business School and also volunteers with the Boston non-profit, Career Collaborative.

David Sheehan is a seasoned career development leader with over 18 years in the recruitment industry, specializing in investment banking, hedge funds, and asset management. Now at Hult International Business School’s postgraduate campus in London, David leads a team dedicated to guiding MBA and master’s students through career coaching, workshops, and personalized mentorship.
His work has helped students from over 140 countries build critical skills in personal branding, networking, and interviewing, with strong job placement results. Known for his insightful and empathetic approach, David is passionate about helping Hult students define and achieve their career goals.

Mandy comes from a Talent Acquisition background working in multiple industries such as digital, finance, consultancy, and tech across a variety of markets including Dubai.
Being able to draw on this experience and understand the point of view of the hiring manager is where she is able to add value and provide insight into how to launch careers internationally.
