This is a three-day face-to-face program that individual work, group discussions, presentations and case studies, together with the use of virtual resources and online databases.
The program incorporates a 1:1 coaching session, during which participants can analyze a specific finance-related problem in their own organization or focus on understanding some more specific financial information. This can be either face-to-face during the program or virtually post-program.
Participants will leave the program with a copy of our financial toolkit for reference in the workplace. The toolkit is a concise ‘cheat sheet’ of glossaries, explanations and tips on all key concepts they will learn on the program. Participants are also given access to the Virtual Ashridge learning platform for the duration of the program.
The Finance for Non-Financial Managers program is also available in a flexible online format which allows participants to access the content at their own pace and at times to fit with their individual schedule.
The online version covers the same content areas as the face-to-face program in an easy to follow modular structure. Each module contains questions and worked examples to help in applying the concepts covered, supplemented by an end of module quiz to test understanding. Webinars are also scheduled throughout the year aimed at consolidating learning and answering questions.
The rolling enrolment format of the program permits participants to join at any time and access to the modules is enabled for a period of up to six months.
