How technology can help and hinder leadership development

During this session Dr Ilze Lansdell-Zandvoort provided an overview of how Hult Ashridge Executive Education integrates technology into work we do within the L&D and OD space when working with Global clients. In particular, she provided examples of three ways in which we help our clients integrate technology into their corporate needs:

  • Delivering virtual and blended Executive Development offerings
  • Enabling leaders to lead in a global world
  • Using technology to support transformational change initiatives

Meet our faculty

Ilze Zandvoort

Dr Ilze Zandvoort - DBA, MBA, DC, MSc

Ilze specializes in leadership and management development at top, senior and middle levels, and delivers Executive Education programs across the globe. Her focus areas include the interface between leadership, teamwork, change and strategy implementation. She has a special interest in using her passion and energy in helping individuals and organizations learn and develop through application of theory and technology.

Ilze is the Program Director for our Open Portfolio Management Development Program, and previously the Academic Director of our Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship Programs, the Executive Masters in Leadership and Management, and the Executive MBA. She has more than 20 years’ experience of designing and delivering degree programs, and earlier in her career she was a successful entrepreneur developing and selling several associated healthcare businesses. She has an MBA (with distinction) from Ashridge and has recently completed her doctorate (DBA) at the University of Liverpool, where her research interest focused on the process of organizational-identity formation post-merger.
