Ashridge Update

The Ashridge (Bonar Law) Memorial Trust board of trustees are intending to sell Ashridge House to EF Education First on January 1st 2020. This transaction has been approved in principle by the Charity Commission. After the proposed transaction, Ashridge Trust will continue to focus on its educational charitable objectives and Ashridge House will continue to be used for executive education, degree programs and events/weddings, exactly as today. There are no planned redundancies as result of this transaction. Furthermore, EF Education First has committed to (i) investing in the property to improve the experience for students and (ii) maintaining the same public access as of today, for as long as the House is used for executive education. Anyone interested in knowing more about this matter should contact: bjorn.bengtsson@ashridge.hult.edu.
