This global event aims to bring some of the world\u2019s top employers and local businesses on to campus to connect with Hult students and recruit them for upcoming opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>This year, each campus tailored their career fair to the local job market to maximize students\u2019 chances of entering their target market upon graduation.<\/p>\n<h2>Boston: Career Connections Open House<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/locations\/boston\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston<\/a> is our largest campus and the Open House event in Boston reflected this. Over 100 companies joined nearly 600 students on campus across three days, with the final day exclusive to companies of Hult alumni.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6460 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hult_Boston_Career_Connections.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the dozen\u2019s of exciting companies based in the Boston area, these leading global employers also attended to meet and recruit students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accenture<\/li>\n<li>Amazon<\/li>\n<li>AutoDesk<\/li>\n<li>Bank of America<\/li>\n<li>BioVentures Investors<\/li>\n<li>Converse<\/li>\n<li>Google<\/li>\n<li>Haynes &amp; Associates<\/li>\n<li>Hollister<\/li>\n<li>Hubspot<\/li>\n<li>L&#8217;Oreal<\/li>\n<li>Mass Challenge Accelerator<\/li>\n<li>Merrill Lynch<\/li>\n<li>New Balance<\/li>\n<li>PwC<\/li>\n<li>State Street<\/li>\n<li>Walmart<\/li>\n<li>Wynn Resorts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>San Francisco: Internship Fair<\/h2>\n<p>While home to some of the most recognizable tech brands in the world, San Francisco\u2019s startup-driven economy actually means 85% of companies in the Bay Area have 10 employees or less. Companies in the region specifically recruit for internships, with over 70% of internships converting to full-time jobs.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6461 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/DSC_1304-1.jpg\" alt=\"Hult_San_Fran_Internship_Fair\" width=\"6000\" height=\"4000\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a strategic move, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/locations\/san-francisco\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hult San Francisco<\/a> used the annual career fair to bring companies on to campus that are actively recruiting for internship roles, with an emphasis on the startups that make up the majority of hiring companies in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the fair, job opportunities were posted on Hult\u2019s online career portal, myCareer. Students could apply for the roles they were interested in and hiring managers could view the candidates profiles online before meeting them in person at the fair:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe Internship Fair really helped me to develop my pitch and confidence when talking with the recruiters. It also was great to be able to filter the companies I was interested in prior to the event and to have a have a &#8220;war room&#8221; meeting room to connect right away through LinkedIn and email with the people I met at the event.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Israel Nava, MBA, Class of 2016<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The companies themselves also got a lot out of the event, relishing the opportunity to\u00a0connect with Hult students about the opportunities they have available:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe were super impressed with this year\u2019s students. We received about 50 applications, 20 of which we followed up via email after meeting the candidates<\/em> on <em>the Hult campus.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Christian Claus, HoloBuilder<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cIt was exciting to meet with so many international students who could help spread the Green Building technology for Resilience around the planet. Hopefully we will be able to work with some of them here and abroad.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Jan Thoren, CEO, NanoArchitech<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>London: Career Connections Forum<\/h2>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6462 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hult_London_Open_House.png\" alt=\"Hult_London_Open_House\" width=\"1365\" height=\"2048\" \/><\/p>\n<p>More than 25 companies came to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/locations\/london\/postgraduate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hult London<\/a> to present, recruit, and participate in roundtable discussions and networking sessions. Big names in global business such as Amazon and Bloomberg, joined up and coming London-based businesses, all looking for graduate talent to join their companies in this highly successful &#8220;forum-style&#8221; fair.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6463 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hult_London_Career_Forum-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Dubai: Career Connections Open House<\/h2>\n<p>Over 34 companies were on campus at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/locations\/dubai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hult Dubai<\/a>, actively looking to recruit students and presenting their current opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6465 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hult_Dubai_Phillips.jpg\" alt=\"Hult_Dubai_Phillips\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Companies at the open house included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Audi Volkswagen<\/li>\n<li>Bosch<\/li>\n<li>British American Tobacco<\/li>\n<li>Canon<\/li>\n<li>EY<\/li>\n<li>General Electric<\/li>\n<li>L&#8217;Oreal<\/li>\n<li>Louis Vuitton<\/li>\n<li>Philips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students on the Dubai campus found the format ideal for meeting companies they wanted to work with and making direct connections with them:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cJust a day after the event I received two phone calls inviting me for an interview. In fact, this Tuesday I have my first interview!\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Nadia Careska Roringpandey, MBA Class of 2016<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The employers too were impressed with caliber of students with Taz Rajabali, Head of Talent Acquisition at Philips saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0\u201c<em>We continue to build our relationship with Hult year on with various events and projects. Why do we do this? Because we are finding that Hult students are of the caliber that we want in Philips, both from the academic point of view but also their readiness for the business world.<\/em>\u201d &#8211; Taz Rajabali, Head of Talent Acquisition, Philips Middle East and Turkey<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6466 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/blog\/media\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hult_Dubai_Loreal.jpg\" alt=\"Hult_Dubai_Loreal\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Oreal commented on the diversity of Hult students as being one of the key reasons they look for talent at Hult:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe found real diverse group of students in terms of the different areas of business they want to go into.
