Building relationships with companies our students want to work for is a top priority for us at Hult. Google is a popular choice for many of our students across all programs<\/a> and campuses with Hult alumni working in various functions, levels, and regions at Google. In fact, Google was the\u00a0#1 employer of Hult graduates last year.<\/p>\n

To help our students find out what it\u2019s like to work at Google, meet people within the company, and prepare for the notoriously rigorous 3-6 month application process, we regularly invite Google representatives to our campuses to share their experience with our students.<\/p>\n

Our campuses\u2019 central locations<\/a> mean we are neighbors with many of the world\u2019s biggest names in business, and Google has offices close to our campuses in Boston, London, and Dubai, and of course, their headquarters in Silicon Valley means they are a huge presence in San Francisco.<\/p>\n

As part of our Campus Career Connections series last month, our Boston campus<\/a> hosted a panel event with panelists Karen Greenleaf, Content Strategy, Google for Education and Mark Rosenthal, Head of Industry, Google Global Business Organization.<\/p>\n

160 students learned how our panelists developed their careers and eventually landed jobs at Google. The evening was moderated by Boston\u2019s Entrepreneurship Club and created a fun, informal atmosphere reflective of Google\u2019s renowned culture.<\/p>\n

Over at our London campus<\/a> last week, our Women in Business Club invited Jo Hagger, Google\u2019s Learning & Development Lead, to share her experiences of developing and retaining the brightest entrepreneurial minds for the tech giant across the EMEA region.<\/p>\n

Jo highlighted the importance of cultural fit within hiring at Google and encouraged students to be themselves at interview. In terms of what Google are looking for in their employees, Jo said that an entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and being comfortable with ambiguity are key to success in the organization\u2019s fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

Sounds like Google and Hult have a lot in common when it comes to culture!<\/p>\n
