An expert panel of judges from around the world will select a shortlist of four professors to compete in a live teach-off event in London, where students and alumni will vote to determine the winner.<\/p>\n<p>The judges will be looking for professors that have gone above and beyond to help their students on the path to future success, and identifying the teaching qualities that will help the next generation of leaders address the world&#8217;s challenges with ever\u00a0more agility, independent thought and imagination.<\/p>\n<p>The panel is comprised of William Ridgers, Business Education Editor, <em>The Economist<\/em>; Peter Felix, President, The Association of Executive Search Consultants; Astrid Tuminez, former Vice-Dean of Executive Education, National University of Singapore; John Beck, Managing Director, Hult Labs; and Adrian Wooldridge, Management Editor,<em> The Economist<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian Wooldridge comments: \u201cThe EIU are delighted to launch this prestigious award in a bid to recognise the professors that have made a significant difference to student\u2019s educational success. The international award will reveal the unique qualities shared by the most successful professors, and help understand what\u00a0underpins outstanding teaching that prepares students for today\u2019s challenging working environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/about-hult\/meet-our-people\/stephen-j-hodges\/\">Dr. Stephen Hodges<\/a>, Hult International Business School said: \u201cWe are pleased to be working with the EIU in search for professors with the ability to energize a new generation of managers.\u201d He added, \u201cWe need managers that can effectively and creatively deal with the issues arising from today\u2019s fast-paced business world, and professors who have proven methods for teaching the next generation of leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are accepted from September 11, 2012 &#8211; October 19, 2012.
