House is where students seeking jobs connect face-to-face with employers seeking talent.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event was bigger than ever with 1,712 students attending across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/all-locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our campuses<\/a> in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai. More than 190 companies came to campus to present current opportunities, interview students, and connect with potential candidates. Over 475 formal interviews took place with almost 2,000 informal connections made through drop-ins and breakout sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Students from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hult.edu\/en\/all-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">all programs<\/a>\u00a0were invited to attend the Career Open House and the sessions held prior to the event to help them prepare \u2013 including r\u00e9sum\u00e9 reviews, mock interviews with industry experts, and speed interviewing workshops. Hult\u2019s talent matching team, Talent Solutions, arranged interviews for students with profiles that corresponded directly with companies&#8217; open positions.<\/p>\n<p>Multinational corporates offering local and international opportunities were in attendance, as well as local companies that have a strong presence and influence in the campus\u2019s home cities. Global organizations included: Google, Merrill Lynch, Infosys, Iron Mountain, Yahoo, Accenture, L\u2019Oreal, Bloomberg, British Airways, Henkel, PwC, Salesforce, KPMG, Ford, and Disney. Keynote speakers from a range of industries and areas of expertise also addressed students.<\/p>\n<p>An event on this scale that provides such a valuable opportunity for candidates and employers to connect is a standout on a busy careers event calendar. Here are just some of the comments from students and companies that took part:<\/p>\n<p>What the companies said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYour students are not just great\u2014they are excellent. The majority we will call back for a second interview.\u201d \u2013 <\/em>Disney<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYour students are very suitable for organizations that are expanding globally. They think differently and as a result bring unique value to organizations.\u201d <\/em>\u2013 UnionPay<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong><em>Hult has truly an outstanding program.\u201d\u00a0 \u2013 <\/em>Randstad Staffing<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Currently, we\u00a0are going through the r\u00e9sum\u00e9s<\/em><em>\u00a0and seeing who can\u00a0work in the U.S. There were a few students who\u00a0wanted to\u00a0live outside the U.S. Our office is\u00a0forwarding their resumes to the local\u00a0Express offices\u00a0in Toronto and South Africa.\u201d \u2013 <\/em> Express Employment Professionals<\/p>\n<p>What the students said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I learned what companies are looking\u00a0for in recruiting students and it made me rethink my strategy and refocus my\u00a0job search more.&#8221; \u2013 <\/em>MBA, Hult Boston<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I had a detailed interview and the company saw me as a good\u00a0fit and asked for my r\u00e9sum\u00e9, and even discussed work authorization.&#8221; \u2013 <\/em>MBA, Hult Boston<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCareer Services was critical in making sure I was confident and successful in my meetings with employers. It was an immensely valuable experience and great to practice networking with various employers. I spoke with Boehringer-Ingelheim for a Market Researcher role. They really liked my resume and were impressed with my pharma experience. I was recommended for an interview and am being connected to the German headquarters for a role in Austria and\/or Germany.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Rohan Bamane, Master of International Business, Hult Dubai<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cToday\u2019s experience at the career fair was very promising. I met many potential employers and I really interacted with them. It was a really good chance for people to broadcast themselves and get to know companies, and for companies to get to know us.
