Hult International Business School is delighted to announce that its Apprenticeships<\/a> provision at Ashridge has been commended by Ofsted following a week-long inspection in November 2024. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The inspectors rated the provision highly, with Hult achieving \u2018Good\u2019 in all categories. Ofsted recognised Hult’s strong focus on leadership development and the impact Hult apprenticeships have on apprentices’ skills and workplace performance.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ofsted Inspectors\u2019 feedback<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n

Inspectors praised the \u2018<\/span>expert teachers<\/span><\/b>,\u2019 who apply a \u2018<\/span>wide variety of teaching and learning strategies<\/span><\/b>\u2019 and \u2018use their expertise skillfully\u2019 to enhance apprentices’ understanding and leadership capabilities.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The report also praised the program\u2019s approach to <\/span>tailoring lessons to apprentices\u2019 real-world roles,<\/span><\/b> with content that directly benefits them, including skills such as <\/span>managing change<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>leading teams effectively<\/span><\/b>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Level 5 apprentices rapidly develop the behaviours they need to become effective leaders and managers in their workplace\u2019 noted inspectors.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the inspectors emphasised the program\u2019s effective use of ‘<\/span>meaningful progress reviews<\/span><\/b>‘, noting how they help both apprentices and employers set and achieve relevant, work-related goals. Ofsted also acknowledged the high level of achievement among apprentices, with a high proportion earning a <\/span>distinction <\/span><\/b>in their end point assessments.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Ashridge leadership response<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Matt Lilley, President of Hult International Business School, congratulated the apprenticeships team for their incredibly hard work. He noted that this outcome is a great achievement for all the staff and leadership, all of whom should feel proud of their efforts, adding \u2018W<\/span>e\u2019re excited to continue delivering impactful programs that support apprentices in their leadership journeys.”<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n

Mark Coleman, COO of Hult Ashridge campus, said:<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

“We\u2019re particularly proud that Ofsted recognise our efforts to support apprentices with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to develop the confidence and skills to succeed both personally and professionally, and <\/span><\/i>to go on to champion SEND support for colleagues in their workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019d like to thank all the apprentices who gave their time to speak to the Ofsted<\/a> inspectors.
