Congratulations to Kenneth Fomunung<\/span><\/strong><\/a> for winning the \u2018Best Social Media Influencer\u2019 award at the Beauty Industry Awards Show & Gala hosted by the Trish Hill Foundation earlier this year.<\/p>\n

We caught up with the American national, Hult London MBA<\/a> Class of 2015 alum, entrepreneur, marketer, and published author to find out more.<\/p>\n

Why do you think you won this award?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I think probably because I take the time to immerse myself in the experiences of my peers. And I understand the tastes of my fellow millennials and speak a language that resonates. Also, I am authentic in how I portray myself, both on- and offline. I think this is refreshing in the social media world, where perception is seldom reality.<\/p>\n

What have you been up to since your Hult MBA?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I\u2019ve been working in Marketing and gone on to found my own digital marketing and consulting agency: Enrich My Brand<\/a>. My MBA program and the entrepreneurial business challenge prepared me well for these experiences. And Hult’s soft skills focus vastly improved my discipline and my confidence in dealing with others and particularly senior management. Hult’s networking opportunities and real-world lessons enhanced my ability to face new challenges and network with diverse people. This is so valuable for running a startup and for client acquisition in the consulting space in which I currently operate. Moreover, I was HSA for my MBA cohort, an experience that further developed my leadership skills, which are critical to the success of any founding member of a company or managing partner.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next for you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Well, I had quite a rollercoaster of a year in 2018 so I’m enjoying the opportunity to reset and renew myself, both personally and professionally. I\u2019m concentrating on my new job at Fleishman Hillard \/ Methods+Mastery. This is a dream realized for me – to lead a creative team within a PR, Communications & Marketing Agency. I\u2019m also planning to write another book<\/a> soon, so do watch this space!<\/p>\n
