May 1 is just around the corner: Decision Day<\/strong>. It’s the day when high school seniors make the final decision about which college or university to attend.<\/p>\n

Where to spend the next three or four years of your life is a big decision.\u00a0But it’s about more than just the next few years\u2014your school\u00a0choice stays with you for life.<\/strong> It\u2019s the place you\u2019ll develop your own voice and ideas. It\u2019s where you\u2019ll connect with the faculty and students who\u2019ll be your mentors as you head out into the world to make a difference. And it\u2019s the credential on your resume that could help you stand out from the crowd.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re choosing between schools, or waiting on some final notifications, answering these three questions could make Decision Day the best day of your life so far.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moving away from home is a big step. Choosing a school that offers you personal attention can ensure you have the support you need to thrive. Check to see if faculty keep regular office hours on campus or offer an open-door policy.
