Master of MOMA Tom Mercer charmed more than 300 people in London with his wry tales of the challenges facing any business start-up. Tom also emphasized the importance of social responsibility and the need for businesses to listen to consumers.

About Tom Mercer

Tom is a farmer's son from Staffordshire, England. After spending a lot of time reading about Biology and studying Management at Cambridge, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company for 3 years. Convinced that the "breakfasts on the go" offer in London could be improved, he started MOMA in 2006, selling healthy breakfasts from a mobile stall in Waterloo Station. MOMA is now in supermarkets, airlines, and cafes, and Tom hopes to take MOMA at a national level over the next couple of years.
