Chris Twyman, CEO and founder of career management firm Zapoint , announces acquisition of Jobster; 2004 graduate of Hult International Business School to provide advanced career management tools

Chris Twyman, a 2004 graduate of Hult International Business School, is making a name for himself as an entrepreneur.

In 2006, Twyman founded Zapoint, a Boston-based leading provider of employee career management and organizational planning solutions. Earlier this month, Twyman announced the acquisition of Jobster, a social networking jobs referral program, and the resulting enterprise will provide the human resources industry with cutting-edge, high-tech career management tools. Due to the management skills he began developing while studying at Hult, the 37-year-old Twyman feels prepared to take on this new challenge.

"Hult gave me the tools to articulate where I wanted to go," said Twyman. "An MBA is an investment for the long-term, and my return is now coming into fruition. Hult is definitely an investment that has paid off."

Zapoint's web-based talent management platform for recruiting, developing and retaining talent aims to save employers the time-consuming task of sifting through stacks of resumes when considering potential hires. Twyman, a native of Weston-super-Mare, a small seaside town in western England, received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wolverhampton, and he earned a master's degree in marketing from the University of London. His connection with Hult doesn't end simply at his MBA; to date, Twyman has hired six Hult graduates while two Hult faculty members sit on Zapoint's board of directors.
